Meg Carrucan – Counsellor
Therapy for Children, Teenagers, Families, Adults and Couples Counselling
Meg is a highly qualified and experienced counsellor. She has been working in the counselling field for 15 years and holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Master of Counselling.
I am passionate about providing an opportunity for people to explore and peel back the layers of what may be adding to the disruption in their lives to enable them to build a new outlook with positive possibilities.
Meg has been working in the NGO arena for the past 15 years and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families. This experience includes individual adult counselling, couple counselling, working with families and leading groups through therapy. She has worked in school-based roles both primary and secondary schools and delivered successful and evidence-based parenting programs.
My approach to counselling is strength-based and solution-focused. This means I work with you to help manage and achieve your goals. While you will be directing our sessions with what you bring into our room, we will work together to manage the challenges and achieve your best possible outcomes.
I highly value empathy and respect when working with my clients and you can be assured you will receive nothing less. You will find me warm and supportive and be in a space where you will feel heard and validated.
